User Responsibilities
Account Management
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach that comes to your attention.
Academic Integrity
You agree to maintain the highest standards of academic integrity throughout your participation in our programs. This includes completing assignments independently, submitting original work, properly attributing sources, and refraining from any form of academic dishonesty or misconduct.
Respectful Interaction
You agree to interact respectfully with instructors, fellow students, and staff members. Harassment, discrimination, threatening behavior, or any conduct that disrupts the learning environment is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of access to our services.
Technology Requirements
You are responsible for ensuring that you have access to appropriate technology and internet connectivity required to participate in our online courses. This includes maintaining updated software, browsers, and any specific applications required for course delivery.
Intellectual Property Rights
Course Content
All course materials, including but not limited to videos, text, images, assessments, and interactive content, are the intellectual property of Professional Growth Academy or our licensed content providers. You may access and use these materials solely for your personal educational purposes during your enrollment period.
Restrictions on Use
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any course content without express written permission. Sharing login credentials or providing unauthorized access to course materials to third parties is strictly prohibited.
Student Work
You retain ownership of original work that you create as part of course assignments, projects, or assessments. However, by submitting work through our platform, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use your work for educational purposes, including as examples for future students or for platform improvement.
Trademark Protection
The Professional Growth Academy name, logo, and other trademarks are protected intellectual property. You may not use our trademarks or branding without explicit written authorization, except as necessary to identify yourself as a student or graduate of our programs.
Payment Terms and Policies
Course Fees
Course fees are clearly stated at the time of enrollment and must be paid in full before accessing course materials, unless alternative payment arrangements have been specifically agreed upon. All fees are quoted in Sri Lankan Rupees and are subject to applicable taxes.
Refund Policy
Refund requests must be submitted within seven days of course commencement. Refunds are processed according to our standard policy, which considers factors such as course progress, completion percentage, and specific circumstances. Administrative fees may apply to refund processing.
Payment Security
All payment transactions are processed through secure, encrypted systems that comply with industry standards for financial data protection. We do not store sensitive payment information on our servers, ensuring additional security for your financial data.
Late Payments
For students on installment payment plans, late payments may result in suspension of access to course materials until payment is brought current. Repeated late payments may affect enrollment in future courses and program completion timelines.
Course Completion and Certification
Completion Requirements
Each course has specific completion requirements, including attendance thresholds, assignment submissions, assessment scores, and participation levels. These requirements are clearly communicated at the beginning of each course and must be met to receive certification.
Certificate Issuance
Certificates are issued to students who successfully complete all course requirements within the specified timeframe. Certificates include verification information and can be validated through our verification system for employers or other interested parties.
Professional Recognition
While our certificates demonstrate completion of professional development programs, they do not constitute professional licenses or regulatory certifications unless specifically stated. Students are responsible for understanding the recognition and acceptance of our certificates in their respective industries.
Continuing Education
Some professional fields require ongoing education for certification maintenance. Our courses may qualify for continuing education credits in certain industries, but students should verify acceptance with relevant professional bodies or regulatory organizations.

Acceptable Use
You agree to use our platform solely for legitimate educational purposes. Activities that violate laws, infringe on rights of others, or disrupt platform operations are prohibited. This includes attempting to gain unauthorized access, introducing malicious software, or engaging in any form of cyber attack.
Content Standards
Any content you submit through our platform, including forum posts, assignment submissions, or communication with instructors, must be respectful, relevant, and appropriate for an educational environment. Content that is offensive, discriminatory, or violates intellectual property rights is prohibited.
Technical Limitations
While we strive to maintain high platform availability, occasional technical issues, maintenance periods, or system updates may temporarily limit access to our services. We will provide advance notice of planned maintenance whenever possible.
Data Usage
You acknowledge that using our online platform requires internet connectivity and may consume data according to your service provider's terms. You are responsible for any data charges or connectivity costs associated with accessing our educational services.
Limitation of Liability
Professional Growth Academy provides educational services on an "as is" basis and makes no warranties regarding specific outcomes, career advancement, or income improvements resulting from course completion. While we strive for excellence, we cannot guarantee that our courses will meet all individual expectations or professional requirements.
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for specific courses or services. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that may arise from use of our services, including lost opportunities, career setbacks, or financial losses.
Students acknowledge that professional success depends on numerous factors beyond educational training, including individual effort, market conditions, economic factors, and personal circumstances that are outside our control.
Force majeure events, including natural disasters, government actions, technical failures, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control, may affect service delivery. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to minimize disruptions and provide alternative arrangements when possible.
Termination of Services
Voluntary Termination
You may terminate your use of our services at any time by providing written notice. Upon termination, your access to course materials will be discontinued according to our standard policies, though completed certifications remain valid.
Involuntary Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our services for violations of these terms, academic misconduct, disruptive behavior, or failure to meet payment obligations. Serious violations may result in immediate termination without notice or refund.
Effects of Termination
Upon termination, you must cease all use of our platform and course materials. Provisions relating to intellectual property, confidentiality, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive termination of these terms.
Data Retention
Following termination, we may retain certain information as required for legal compliance, record-keeping, or legitimate business purposes. Personal data will be handled according to our privacy policy and applicable data protection regulations.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms or use of our services should first be addressed through direct communication with our student services team. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly through constructive dialogue.
If disputes cannot be resolved through direct communication, formal mediation may be pursued through recognized dispute resolution services. Both parties agree to participate in good faith mediation efforts before pursuing other legal remedies.
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and any legal proceedings must be conducted in appropriate Sri Lankan courts. However, we encourage resolution through alternative dispute resolution methods whenever possible.
Students retain the right to seek legal counsel and pursue appropriate remedies under applicable consumer protection laws and regulations governing educational services in their jurisdiction.
